Traffic
• March 11 – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 8:30 a.m. in the town of Caledonia.

Sharon Garbisch, 61, of Granton, was traveling westbound on State Highway 96 when she failed to stop for a red signal light at the intersection of U.S. Highway 45. The Garbisch vehicle crashed into a southbound truck driven by John Foltz, 52, of Wauseon.

The Garbisch vehicle ended up in the southwest corner of the intersection. Garbisch said the signal light came up too fast and she couldn’t help crashing into the other vehicle.

The police report listed foggy conditions at the time of the incident.

Garbisch and her passengers, Orville Garbisch, 73, and Jeanette Steiner, 83, both of Granton, were transported to the hospital.
