Daniel James Egan, 72, of King, WI, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King .
Daniel was born on November 4, 1943, son of the late Daniel and Eleanor (LaVigne) Egan. Daniel served in the U.S. Army, a veteran of the Korean Conflict. After serving his country, Daniel worked for many years as a machinist for Briggs & Stratton. Daniel also greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Daniel is survived by: sister, Charlotte (Adam) Boehler; brother-in-law, Richard Stoflet; nieces, Christine (Rob) Langhoff, Cindy (Dave) Wright, and Rebecca (Dale) Schwertbeger; and nephews, Gregory Boehler, Keith (Lisa) Stoflet, and Ricky Stoflet Jr. He is preceded in death by: his parents, and a sister, Carol Stoflet.
Per the family’s wishes, a private service was held. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
