Two decades coaching New London softball
Calculations by Bulldogs supporter Brent Erdmann indicate Porath sat at 303 wins as of Monday, May 2.
Based on that information, the 300th win would have taken place Friday, April 29, when the Bulldogs shut out Waupaca 10-0.
His daughter Leah Porath took part in the 300th win by pitching two innings and producing two hits, including a triple.
Tony Porath has been head coach and co-head coach of the Bulldogs since 1995.
“There were a lot of people I coached with that were all big parts of New London winning the 300 games—Brian Rill, Jodi Brennan, Jeff Prey, Larry Bretl, Dave Rohde, Laura Turner, Melinda Hull, Katie Johnson,” Porath said. “I have always worked with good people and all of them are as a part of the 300 wins as I was.”
