Warren “Red” I. Hidde, King, Wisconsin, age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 2, 2016 at ThedaCare Medical Center – Waupaca, WI.
He was born August 23, 1928 in New London, WI, son of Rudolph and Theresa (Rueder) Hidde. On June 25, 1960, Red married Coral Amy Barrington in New London and together they shared 39 years of marriage before her passing on July 28, 1999. He will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and many friends.
Red is survived by: children: Donald Hansen of Pine River, WI; Richard (Linda) Hansen of Hortonville, WI; Chuck (Connie) Hansen of Stevenville, WI; grandchildren: Marie (Ron) Schultz of New London, WI; Cheryl Winters of Waupaca, WI; Jacci (Randy) Helser of Appleton, WI; Chris (Tim) Dohrman of New London, WI; Dan (Marie) Hansen of Appleton, WI; Julie Zietlow of New London, WI; Tom (fiancée, Andy McFaul) Christian of New London, WI; Tina (fiancé, Tim Diedrich) Christian of Appleton, WI; Toni Miller of Hortonville, WI; Nicholas Hansen of New London, WI; Kelly Hansen of Stevenville, WI; great-grandchildren: Joshua Schmitt, Felica (Adam Pankow) Winters, Sheena (Travis) Winters-Pomeroy, Corina Winters, Eric Stern, Ben Stern, Cassie Dohrman, Scott Dohrman, Bryce Hansen, Dana Hansen, Andi Hansen, Katie Hansen, Jennifer Togstad, Dylan (MacKenna) Hansen, Jared Zietlow, and Merrick Hansen; great-great-grandchildren: Layla Schmitt, Zander Barth, Lawson Betzinger, Novin Pankow, Dexter Stern, and Evan Stern; sister-in-law, Carol Hidde of Wisconsin. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Theresa Hidde; his wife, Coral Amy Hidde; two sisters, Arlene (Raymond) Magolski and Luella (Willard) Collar; and one brother, Rudolph Hidde.
A Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Chaplain Wayne Schwanke will officiate. A visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date at the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
