Clintonville wins against Freedom

Shawano defeated the Clintonville baseball team 14-1 in a four-and-a-half-inning nonconference game on Friday, May 20.

Keenan Doornink batted in his brother Jaden Doornink for the only RBI and run of the game.

Jaden Doornink and Kyle Finger each produced a hit. Shawano had 14 hits.

Keenan Doornink, Colton Kluth and Chad Bork all pitched, with Bork taking the loss.

Clintonville 2, Freedom 1
CLINTONVILLE – Clintonville broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the seventh inning to take out Freedom in a North Eastern Conference game on Thursday, May 19.

Near the game’s end, Colton Kluth reached on an error. He then stole second base and ultimately scored on a walk-off single by Chad Bork.

Freedom pitcher Seth Rehrauer held Clintonville to three hits and struck out nine in a complete game loss. Winning pitcher Jaden Doornink allowed six hits.
