Jean E. Minks, age 87, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Theda Care Medical Center-Waupaca.
Jean was born in Chicago, IL on February 18, 1929, the daughter of the late Frank and Hanna (Marchinke) Kindle. On November 13, 1948, Jean married William E. Minks in Chicago and he preceded her in death on January 26, 2016. She is a member of Parfreyville United Methodist Church.
Jean is survived by her children: Susan (Leonard) Jensen, Waupaca; Bonnie Lang, Waupaca; Colleen (Steve) Peterson, Eau Claire; Doreen “Dee” (Steve) VanRyzin, Appleton and Dale (Kathy) Minks, Waupaca; her grandchildren: Melissa (Andy) Garbe, Michelle Orozco, Tara (Joe) Bottchen, Joshua Minks, Cody Minks, Angela (Richard) Kinderman, Cynthia (Robert) Hamill, Randy Peterson, Toni (Steve) Kattestad, Krissy (Marc) Helbach, Ryan Johnson and Trisha (Ethan) Kanaman, her great-grandchildren: Roberto, Nayeli, Miguel, Katelyn, Manuel, Alyvia, Josie, Trevor (Megan), Kelsey, Hannah, Ryan (Andrea), Nathan (Amy), Wyatt, Austin, Joshua, Cole, Hayden, Blake, Sophia, Chance, Violet and Gracie, her great-great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Virgil and Jackson; a sister-in-law, Dolores Kindle and many nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill; a brother, Frank Kindle and a nephew, Gregg Kindle.
The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, June 22 at 5 p.m. at Parfreyville United Methodist Church with Reverend Eric Taylor, officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday afternoon from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Parfreyville United Methodist Church. Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
