Fields, Allison M.

Alison FieldsAllison Marie Fields, age 22, of New London passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 23, 2016.

Allison was born on January 4, 1994 in Appleton to Troy and Leanne (Beversdorf) Fields. She was a resident of New London her whole life and attended New London High School, graduating in 2012. Allison then went on to UW Fox Valley, where she studied Social Work. She enjoyed reading, playing piano, listening to music, art and had a special love for animals, especially her dog Corky. Allison was known for being a hard worker. She was loved by many and enjoyed being with family and friends. She was a gentle soul, with a small voice and big heart.

Allison is survived by her parents; sister, Madeline, New London; paternal grandmother, Judy McDaniel, New London; maternal grandparents, Mary and Bud Johnson, Marion; aunts and uncles: Leah and Scott Looker and their children, Brady and McKenna; Lisa and Tim Mulvey and their children, Bryn (Jim) Keenan and Evan; Brian and Vicki Beversdorf and their children, Alex (Will), Ben and Caleb; Shane and Mary Fields and their children, Garrett (Ari), Morgan and Gavin; Bobbi Roberts and her children, Katie and Andy (Sally). Allison is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Allison was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Byron “Biscuit” Beversdorf and her paternal grandfathers, Kenneth Fields and Jim “Mac” McDaniel.

A funeral service for Allison will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at First Congregational United Church of Christ in New London. Rev. Greg Watling will be officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at Cline and Hanson Funeral Home in New London and again from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church Tuesday. A beautiful life was lost due to complications from prolonged drug use.
