Local communities offered much to do over the July 4 holiday weekend.
On Monday, July 4, the Fremont Fire Department sponsored the annual Kiddie Parade at 10 a.m. Monday, July 4.
The Iola-Scandinavia Chamber of Commerce sponsored the annual Fireworks Celebration at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 3, at Olson Park in Iola.
Also on Saturday, Manawa held its annual rodeo parade.
