She was born November 6, 1919, in Waupaca to Charles E. and Alma (Altman) Beer. Faith married Robert “Bob” LaHaie on October 14, 1939 in Waupaca. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1998. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Parish in Green Bay. Faith was employed at John Nero’s Family Restaurant for 15 years and later worked at Leicht Transfer and Storage for 15 years prior to her retirement. In her free time, Faith enjoyed golfing and was a longtime member of Woodside Golf Course. She also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.
Faith is survived by three grandchildren, Amanda Schoen and Tim Tisch, Stacey and Jon Pawlak, and Mark Schoen; three great-grandchildren, Ashley and Brandon Schoen, Darian Bricker; three great-great-grandchildren, Jason and Hannah Schoen, Zoey Dessell; her best friend, Florence Nuthals; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” LaHaie; a son, Wilbur; a daughter, Ann LaHaie; and many brothers and sisters and their spouses.
Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of Ninth St. and 12th Ave., Green Bay, from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, August, 4. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. Michael Thiel officiating. Burial will be in Waupaca. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family.
