Clintonville hires new administrator

Bothe to be CHS associate principal

The Clintonville School District has hired Bob Bothe to serve as the Clintonville High School associate principal, as well as the districts activities director.

The hire was made after the Clintonville School Board met in closed session at its meeting, Monday, July 25.

Tom O’Toole, superintendent for the School District of Clintonville, told the Clintonville Tribune-Gazette that Bothe had been a teacher in the Hillsboro School District for around 16 years.

The high school associate principal and activities director vacancies were created when the school board accepted Eric Ward’s resignation earlier in the meeting. Ward had served as associate principal and activities director for two years.

O’Toole, also told the Clintonville Tribune-Gazette that Ward accepted a similar position with the Kiel School District. Kiel is closer to Ward’s home than Clintonville is.

Resignations
The board also accepted teacher resignation for Janelle Hegner (third grade), Megan Meyers (kindergarten), and Kristi Schertz (second grade).

The resignations of Stephanie Bonikowske as junior varsity 2 girls’ basketball coach and Kayla Lautenschlager as middle school volleyball coach were also accepted by the board.

New hires
The school board approved hiring Emily Norton (high school categorical teacher), Amy Harrison (third grade teacher), Stephanie Pinno (kindergarten teacher) and Keela Strouf (second grade teacher).

The board made the following extra-curricular hires: Peter Smith (junior varsity 1 girls’ basketball coach), Trinitie Wilke (junior varsity girls’ basketball coach), Stephanie Bonikowske (middle school girls’ basketball coach), and Tiffany O’Toole (middle school volleyball coach).
