Kathryn M. Rogers, age 92, New London, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at ThedaCare Medical Center, Appleton.
She was born on October 25, 1923 in New London, daughter of the late Nick and Alma (Volz) Dreier. Kathryn was a 1941 graduate of New London High School and recently celebrated her 75th class reunion. On November 1, 1941, she was united in marriage to Jay C. Rogers. He preceded her in death in 1977. Kathryn enjoyed playing cards and formerly worked as a baker at Emanuel Lutheran School and New London High School.
She is survived by her children, Diane (Robert) Konkol, Amherst Junction and David (Amy) Rogers, Highlands Ranch, Colorado; nine grandchildren: Cindy, Kevin, Rodney, Allen, Nick, Taylor, Joey, Tony and Calvin; five great-grandchildren: Brittney, Mac, Carly, Kole and Lydia; two great-great-grandchildren, Kamara and T.J. She is further survived by her brother, Donald (Linda) Dreier, New London; sisters-in-law, Janet Dreier, Marge Dreier both of New London and Carol Rogers, Neenah and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter Sharon, son Bruce, great-granddaughter Megan, and four brothers: William, Robert, Harold and Louis.
Funeral services for Kathryn will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with Rev. William Heiges officiating. Burial will be in the Floral Hill Cemetery, New London. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
