Soderberg charged with burglary, again

A Waupaca man faces more felony charges.

Benjamin C. Soderberg, 41, is charged with burglary, theft, credit card theft and two counts of credit card fraud.

On July 15, Waupaca County Deputies Curtis Much and Andrew Thorpe responded to a theft complaint on King Road in Farmington.

The man said that earlier that day, someone entered his home while he was in the bathroom and stole a green money pouch with a credit card, a bank card and $14 cash. The cards were in his wife’s name.

On Aug. 20, the man told investigators they noticed nearly $200 in unauthorized charges on the credit card at the Kwik Trip in Waupaca. The charges were for soda, snacks and food.

At the time the purchases were made, security video showed a tall, thin man with longish hair.

The suspect in the video was identified as Soderberg from a mugshot of him taken on July 19, when he was charged with burglary, theft and criminal damage to property.
