Committee plans recommendation by February
The Waupaca Common Council approved the appointments to the city’s new Deer Management Ad Hoc Committee when it met on Nov. 1.
Mayor Brian Smith’s appointments include alderpersons Alan Kjelland, Lori Chesnut and Chuck Whitman, as well as Steve Johnson, Chris Anthony, Sue Reniewicki, Barb Haen, Judith Shwonek, Shelly Christie and Loren Fritz.
Christie asked to be a non-voting member.
Kjelland, the chairperson of the committee, set a tentative timetable of February as to when the committee will report back to the council on a recommendation.
The ad hoc committee’s first meeting will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, in the council chambers at city hall.
