Anderson, Larry M.

anderson-larryLarry M. Anderson, Waupaca, Wisconsin, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 7, 2016, and is rejoicing in heaven as he worships his Savior after a long and courageous battle against cancer.

He was born July 23, 1943 in Waupaca, WI, son of Floyd A. and Rhoda P. (Stedman) Anderson. On March 23, 1963, Larry married Donzella Fletcher in Waupaca. He worked at Faulks Bros Construction, the Waupaca County shop and owned and operated Anderson Power Center before establishing Anderson Cattle Company, where he was able to do what he loved each and every day. Larry served as Trustee for most of his adult life at the First Baptist Church. He also served as a Sunday school teacher for 40 years. In addition, Larry enjoyed mentoring many, often fatherless, young people on his farm. He was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends.

Larry is survived by: his loving wife of 53 years, Donzella (nee: Fletcher) Anderson of Waupaca, WI; two children, Bobbie (Scott) Studzinski of Waupaca, WI and Troy (Debbie) Anderson of Cashton, WI; nine grandchildren: Eileen (Louis) Kleidon, Caleb (Alyssa) Anderson, Cody Anderson, Taylor Anderson, Autumn (Caleb) Stevens, Brianna Peotter, Sydney Anderson, Cory Studzinski, Isabella Studzinski; five great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Anderson of Waupaca, WI; sister, Arlene (George) Golding of Waupaca, WI; sisters-in-law: Carol Redman of Waupaca, WI; Nancy Anderson of Waupaca, WI; Louise Anderson of Oshkosh, WI and Judy Anderson of Appleton, WI. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Anderson; his mother and step-father, Rhoda (Everett) Winkler; a son, Lance L. Anderson; seven brothers: Robert (in infancy), Chet (Rose), Gordon, John “Jack”, Gary “Sam”, Lewis, and Darrel Anderson; and two sisters, Phyllis Anderson (in infancy) and Joyce (John) Nelsen.

A Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Waupaca, WI. Reverend Larry G. Gross will officiate. A visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the church with a light luncheon to follow. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
