Iola boys prevail at home

Iola-Scandinavia’s boys’ basketball team picked up its first win – a 60-46 Central Wisconsin 8 Conference victory – over Bonduel Dec. 13.
Kenny Holz scored 14 of his game-high 22 points and Bryce Huettner added seven rebounds as the Thunderbirds led 34-25 at halftime.
Holz and teammate Charlie Stockwell added eight and seven points, respectively, in the second half and Huettner came down with another eight rebounds. Stockwell added 15 points and Huettner chipped in with eight.
Bryce Weier and Brandon Olsen led Bonduel with 12 points.
The T-Birds improved to 1-3 overall and 1-1 in CWC-8 play and Bonduel fell to 1-4 on the season.
