Manawa falls to Bonduel

Wolves struggle in conference game

The Manawa Wolves suffered a 79-53 loss to the Bonduel Bears in a Central Wisconsin-Eight Conference match up, on Feb. 9.

Both teams exchanged baskets during the first half, led by Ethan Hass who scored 16 points for the Wolves and Bonduel’s Brandon Olsen who scored 9.

At the end of the first half, Bonduel headed to the locker room with a 34-31 lead in the game.

The Bear’s turned up the heat in the second half, led by Bryce Weier who scored all of his game high 18 points in the final period, giving Bonduel the win.

Topping the scoring for Manawa was Hass with 16, followed by Jeven Sachtjen with 11.

Leading the scoring for Bonduel was Weier with 18, followed by Parker Bohm with 15.

Manawa will travel to Wittenberg-Birnamwood on Tuesday, Feb 14 to take on the Chargers.
