Bail jumping charges filed

Police arrested a Marion man who was out on bail for drug charges.

Justin S. Fletcher, 19, is charged with criminal trespass, resisting an officer and felony bail jumping.

On Feb. 17, Marion Police Officer Eric Krause responded to a trespassing complaint at an apartment on the 700 block of North Main Street.

According to the criminal complaint, the woman who lived in the apartment told Fletcher he was not welcome but he came into the apartment anyway.

When Krause took Fletcher into custody, he allegedly struggled with the officer even after he was handcuffed.

On Dec. 5, 2016, Fletcher was charged with drug trafficking, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and six counts of possession of drug paraphernalia after Marion and Clintonville police executed a search warrant at the Main Street apartment where Fletcher lived.

Officers reported finding five bindles of meth, 45 grams of pot, syringes, a purple metal pipe and other drug paraphernailia in the apartment.
