CWC-8 announces all-conference teams

Iola-Scandinavia’s Kenny Holz, Weyauwega-Fremont’s Jake Hablewitz and Amherst’s Colton Groholski and Mason Wideman have been named to the Central Wisconsin 8 Conference’s boys’ basketball all-conference first team.

Second-teamers include Iola-Scandinavia’s Charlie Stockwell and Weyauwega-Fremont’s Logan Bosquez, while players receiving honorable mention include Manawa’s Jeven Sachtjen and Amherst’s Brandon Piotrowski.

Guard: Kenny Holz, senior, Iola-Scandinavia; Nate Schmidt, senior, Shiocton; Colton Groholski, junior, Amherst; Andrew Blanker, junior, Pacelli.

Point guard: Jake Hablewitz, sophomore, Weyauwega-Fremont.

Forward: Mason Wideman, junior, Amherst.

Second Team
Guard: Trevor Groshek, junior, Wittenberg-Birnamwood; Brandon Spencer, junior, Shiocton.

Guard/forward: Charlie Stockwell, sophomore, Iola-Scandinavia.
