Jody Avery, 54, of Waupaca passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017.
She was born in Milwaukee, WI, on August 28, 1962 to Audrey and Lionel Hintz. Jody was a beloved member of the community who brought joy and light to everyone she came in contact with. Whether she was caring for the elderly at King Veterans Home, leading a Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga class for Sisters of the Sun, or simply just going about her day she always did so with warmth and a smile.
She is survived by her two sons, Mikel Avery, of Chicago, IL; and Gerald Avery, of Los Angeles, CA; her loving partner Gary Hartleben; siblings, Mike, Tony, Lee, Tammy, Lee Ann, and by her granddaughter, Olivia. Jody was preceded in death by her parents, Audrey and Lionel Hintz, and brothers, Tom and Randy Hintz.
In celebration of her life, a gathering will be held at Indian Crossing Casino in Waupaca some time in June 2017. For updated and further information please follow Jimmy Fords Boards on Facebook.
