Early radio in Waupaca

Former WPR host to discuss WPAH

Randall Davidson will present “Tuning In: Waupaca’s Early Radio” at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at the Holly History and Genealogy Center.

Davidson is an author and former Wisconsin Public Radio host.

He will present the early history of radio in Waupaca and the unique story of local station WPAH.

Davidson wrote the book, “9XM Talking: WHA Radio and the Wisconsin Idea,” and now serves as the director of radio services at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

This program is being sponsored by 96.3 WILW and the city of Waupaca.

Refreshments will be served.

The Holly History and Genealogy Center is located at 321 S. Main St., Waupaca.
