Zoozort at library

Sturm Memorial Library  will host a live animal show at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 13, in Manawa.

The show will feature the wildlife educational program Zoozort and the special guests will be animals of the cuddly kind.

Zoozort has been in existence for more than 20 years, conducting programs and workshops for schools, libraries, churches, and community organizations.

Zoozort’s animals have appeared on national TV including Animal Planet and CNN’s Education Showcase. This event is made possible by a grant from the Outagamie Waupaca Library System.

The program is free and all ages are welcome, however those 8 and under must be accompanied by a responsible party.

The library’s summer reading program is going strong with more than 150 children registered and participating in reading independently or with their families over the summer and participating in programs and activities at the library that foster creativity, collaboration and constructive play.

It is not too late for children to get registered for the program which runs until July 28.

For more information on the Zoozort program or the summer reading program in general call the library at 920-596-2252 or visit www.manawalibrary.org.
