The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office identified the two people involved in the pedestrian fatality.
Daniel Yonke, 55, Waupaca, was killed shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, July 21, on State Highway 54, east of County Trunk Q in Farmington.
According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, a man was reported walking in the middle of State 54 about two minutes prior to a caller reporting a pedestrian being struck.
Christina Van Buskirk, 17, Waupaca, was driving the eastbound sport utility vehicle that hit Yonke.
Yonke was pronounced dead at the scene by the Waupaca County Coroner’s Office.
