Criminal sentencing

Recent convictions, sentencing and dismissals from felony cases in Waupaca County Circuit Court.

• Judge Vicki Clussman sentenced Marina A. Bellin, 47, Manawa, to four years in state prison and four years of extended supervision.

Bellin was convicted of a seventh drunken driving offense.

Clussman also ordered Bellin to pay $3,331 in fines and court costs and revoked her license for 36 months.

• Judge Raymond Huber sentenced Jeremy J. Olson, 43, Neenah, to three years in prison and three years of extended supervision.

Olson was convicted of a seventh drunken driving offense and possession of methamphetamine.

Huber also revoked Olson’s license for three years, ordered him to install an ignition interlock device (IID) for three years and prohibited him from consuming alcohol or illegal drugs while under community supervision.

• Judge Troy Nielsen imposed and stayed three years in prison and placed Teresa L. Gardner, 51, Waupaca, on three years of probation.

Gardner was convicted of a sixth drunken driving offense.

As conditions of her probation, Nielsen ordered Gardner to spend 315 days in jail, revoked her license for three years, install an IID on her vehicle, pay $1,861 in fines and court costs, maintain absolute sobriety and participate in Alcohol and Other Drugs Assessment (AODA) and driver’s safety plan.

• Clussman revoked the probation of Miranda A. Barden, 26, Waupaca, and sentenced her to 18 months in prison with two years of extended supervision.

Barden was convicted of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, possession of narcotics and operating a vehicle with a controlled substance and a juvenile passenger and placed on three years of probation in September 2016.

• Clussman placed Brittany J. Koski, 21, Menasha, on three years of probation.

Koski was convicted of possession of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine.

Charges of obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed but read into the record for sentencing purposes.

Conditions of her probation include three months in jail, AODA and $1,036 in court costs.

• Huber placed Helana L. Karschney, 26, Manawa, on three years of probation.

Karschney was convicted of delivery of amphetamine.

Two more counts of delivery of amphetamine and one count of possession of amphetamine with intent to deliver were dismissed but read into the record.

As conditions of probation, Huber stayed 180 days in jail to be used at the agent’s discretion. Because Karschney already served 78 days in jail following her arrest and had a $5,000 cash bond, 102 days are available to the agent. She was also assessed $518 in court costs and ordered to abide by any treatment recommended by her agent.

• Huber imposed and stayed 30 days in jail, then placed Stephanie Jo Lubahn, 38, Manawa, on one year of probation.

Lubahn was convicted of disorderly conduct. A felony charge of battery to an officer was dismissed but read into the record.

Huber ordered Lubahn to submit to any mental health assessments and abide by any treatments recommended by her agent.

She was assessed $443 in court costs.

• Clussman placed Cynthia M. Kincy, 33, Milwaukee, on one year of probation.

She was convicted of misdemeanor battery, amended from an original charge of battery to an officer.

Kincy was assessed $1,260 in restitution and court costs.

• Clussman placed Caleb A. Knutson-Stickles, 19, Iola, on two years of probation.

He was convicted of misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor bail jumping. A charge of felony bail jumping was dismissed but read into the record.

If Knutson-Stickles successfully completes probation, his record will be expunged.

• Huber imposed and stayed two years in prison, then placed Andrew L. Tessen, 29, Waupaca, on three years of probation.

Tessen was convicted of delivery of methamphetamine and felony bail jumping.

As conditions of Tessen’s probation, Huber stayed 120 days in jail to be used at the agent’s discretion, ordered Tessen to obtain and maintain full-time employment, assessed $1,36 in court costs and prohibited him from possessing or consuming illegal drugs and alcohol.

• Nielsen placed Melissa A. Cain, 27, Waupaca, on three years of probation.

Cain was convicted of delivery of amphetamine.

As conditions of probation, Cain must maintain absolute sobriety, not possess or consume illegal drugs, participate in AODA and any counseling recommended by her agent and pay $858 in court costs.

• Clussman placed Harley T. Dobbertin, 23, Iola, on two years of probation.

Dobbertin was convicted of possession of methamphetamine.

As conditions of probation, Clussman stayed six months in jail to be used at the agent’s discretion and ordered Dobbertin not to possess or consume alcohol or illegal drugs and pay $518 in court costs.

• Clussman placed Jacquelyn R. Meyer, 25, Ogdensburg, on three years of probation.

Meyer was convicted of three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, one count of obstructing an officer and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Felony charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of narcotics were dismissed but read into the record.

• Clussman stayed 90 days in jail to be used at the agent’s discretion and ordered Meyer to maintain absolute sobriety, not possess or consume illegal drugs, participate in any counseling recommended by her agent and pay $2,221 in fines and court costs.

• Clussman placed Gregory J. Ghent, 27, Marion, on one year of probation.

Ghent was convicted of misdemeanor battery. A charge of felony child abuse was dismissed but read into the record.

As conditions of his probation, Clussman ordered that Ghent not physically punish any children and abide by a child protective services order.

• Clussman revoked the probation of Damien E. Jones, 19, Clintonville and sentenced him to five months in jail.

Jones was convicted of possession of narcotics in July and placed on two years probation.

• Clussman revoked the probation of Timothy J. Ort, 28, Clintonville, and sentenced him to four months in jail.

Ort was convicted of felony hit-and-run causing injury in March 2017.

• Huber revoked the probation of Ashley L. Fletcher, 30, Waupaca, and sentenced her to 180 days in jail with 85 days credit for time served.

Fletcher was convicted of battery and misdemeanor bail jumping in October 2016.

• Nielsen revoked the probation of Amber L. Barry, 32, Clintonville and sentenced her to six months in jail.

Barry was convicted of misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct in August 2016 and placed on two years of probation.
