Waupaca Historical Society to hold fundraiser

The Waupaca Historical Society will host “Paint and Sip” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at the historic Waupaca Depot, 525 Oak St.

Artists of all skill levels and experience are invited to paint with local artist and instructor Janet Larsen.

Tickets are $30, and participants must be 21 or older.

Tickets include a canvas, all art supplies and two glasses of wine (or soda or water).

With Larsen’s help, artists will paint a Waupaca scene in the two-hour session.

All proceeds from the event will go toward the Waupaca Historical Society.

Those interested in attending may call the Waupaca Historical Society at 715-256-9980 or stop in during open hours at the Holly History and Genealogy Center for tickets.

For more information about the program, contact Tracy Behrendt at director@waupacahistoricalsociety.org.
