McClone, Jerome P.

Jerome Patrick McClone “Jerry”, age 76, of New London, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 in Neenah, following a battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Jerry was born on May 13, 1941 to the late Richard and Helen (Baur) McClone in New London. He was united in marriage to Patricia “Patty” Paige on December 29, 1963 in Fond du Lac. Jerry started in sales before shifting to marketing in a 40-plus year career with Kohler Company in St. Louis, New York, Wisconsin and Illinois. He was a high school and college football star and a lifelong Packers fan. Jerry loved golfing, fishing, and time outside at the Wolf River in New London. Jerry’s true passion was spending time with his many friends and large family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Patty; children Debbie (Jon) Cermele, Pewaukee, WI; Julie McClone (Patty Burke), Loves Park, IL and Mike McClone (Wilma Balingit), Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Steve Christiansen, Jamie Weber, Kayla (Francisco) Galan and great-grandchildren, Aiden, Karlee and Mason Christiansen and siblings, Gene (MaryAnne) McClone, Judy (Bob) Barber, Midge Johnson, Becky McClone, Dick (Connie) McClone, Mary Kay (Tim) Gerhartz and Steve Miller (Bill McClone, deceased). He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, lifelong friends, Dave and Judy Schwebs, along with many other friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dan and Bill McClone and in-laws, Richard and Dorothy Paige.

The funeral for Jerry was held at 1:00 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London on Thursday, November 30, 2017. Visitation took place at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial is in Most Precious Blood Catholic Cemetery, New London. Memorials can be made to the family or the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
