Kali Rohan scored a career-high 19 points in New London’s 68-23 home win over Green Bay West on Saturday, Dec. 16.
Rohan scored 15 of her points in the first half, as the Bulldogs improved to 4-5 overall including 2-2 in the Bay Conference.
“We were just focused on coming out strong,” Rohan said. “The environment wasn’t the loudest, so we had to create our own energy and did the best we could.”
The Bulldogs went on a 13-0 run to take a 15-2 lead a few minutes in, and New London extended its lead throughout the game.
New London went into halftime with a 41-10 lead, scoring 16 unanswered points to end the first half.
“I thought we did a pretty well,” Rohan said. “In the second half, we started out a little slow. We eventually got back into it, but we’re going to try to clean that up a little bit going into next week.”
New London went up by 40 points with about six minutes left to force a running clock.
Kate Christian added 18 points for the Bulldogs with three 3-pointers, and Morgan Spoehr scored seven for New London.
