Crash on U.S. 10

The driver of a sport utility vehicle was seriously injured in a crash at 12:45 p.m. Sunday.

The SUV was eastbound on U.S. Highway 10 in Farmington, about three-tenths of a mile east of the West Fulton Street exit.

According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, the SUV entered the median, struck a culvert and began overturning while it continued into the westbound lanes of U.S. 10.

The vehicle was still rolling when it struck a westbound sedan, causing minimal damage, then came to rest in the north ditch.

The driver of the SUV was transported to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah due to significant injuries.

The sheriff’s office has not yet released the names of those involved in the accident.
