She was born September 1, 1920 in the Town of Mukwa, daughter of the late Rhine and Lizzie Schroeder. Ethel married Hubert R. Doede on April 21, 1946 at St. Peter Lutheran Church. In later years, she enjoyed going to play BINGO, needlework, and spending time with her girl friends playing cards.
Survivors in her immediate family include her son-in-law, Vernon (Bev) McClelland; three grandchildren, Kathryn (David) Rodriguez, Ann (Brad) Cullen and Jonathan (Mihcal) McClellend; seven great-grandchildren, Collin Jorgensen, Lauren Jorgensen, Tyson Templer, Milo Rodriguez, Callie Cullen, Kristen Cullen, and Jacob McClelland and seven great-great-grandchildren.
