Waupaca County Sheriff’s report Feb. 12

• Feb. 12 – An intoxicated man requested police meet him at the Holiday Station in Waupaca because he had an issue with another man while they had been at Weasel’s.

• Feb. 11 – An anonymous caller reported her neighbor needed the police because her male friend would not allow her to report their physical altercations.

• Feb. 11 – Staff reported a dementia patient had left the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King and was last seen walking on County Trunk QQ toward State Highway 22.

• Feb. 11 – A woman living on the 300 block of Walnut Street, Manawa, reported she was receiving harassing calls, even after changing her phone number.

• Feb. 11 – A resident of the E2400 block of Spencer Lake Road, Waupaca, reported his wife had taken his vehicle. Then the wife got on the line and said the vehicle was taken away because the caller had dementia.

• Feb. 11 – Two teens were detained at Fleet Farm in Waupaca after they were caught shoplifting.

• Feb. 11 – Northport Convenience Store, State Highway 54, New London, reported a $40 gas drive-off.

• Feb. 10 – Caller reported a white four-door car had been parked for a long time on Rowland Street, New London, and the driver appeared to be hunched over in the front seat.

• Feb. 10 – Caller reported finding evidence of a trespasser. There were tracks in the snow going behind his house and around his shed and cars.

• Feb. 10 – Caller from the Waupaca Recreation Center reported a group of young girls with no jackets were unable to leave because their car would not start. They were unable to reach anyone and would not talk with staff.

• Feb. 9 – Caller from 600 block of Tigerton reported his stepsister stole his 1998 Ford Explorer and took it to Siegel Rcycling in Ogdensburg.

• Feb. 9 – Caller from the N700 block of County Trunk H, Fremont, reported someone stole his dog. After he let the dog out, he saw a car drive by slowly. He went outside and saw the dog’s footprints lead up to the road, then disappear.

• Feb. 9 – Caller from E5900 block of Haffner Road, Weyauwega, reported her neighbor’s car was blocking her car and they would not move it. She could be heard yelling profanities at them.

• Feb. 9 – Caller from the 700 block of North Water Street, New London, reported his 9mm was missing.

• Feb. 8 – Caller from the 600 block of Oak Street, Waupaca, reported the theft of three pills used for migraines from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in his driveway.

• Feb. 8 – Bethany Home in Waupaca reported the theft of prescription drugs.

• Feb. 7 – Caller from the 400 block of South Division Street, Waupaca, said he wanted some beer and nobody would get it for him.

• Feb. 7 – Resident of the 400 block of East Ellefson Street, Iola, reported receiving a call from a man who claimed to be a public defender who said his nephew was in an accident and needed bail money sent right away via Western Union.

• Feb. 6 – A Clintonville woman called 911 from her cellphone and reported her husband was beating her. She could be heard screaming she needed the police.

• Feb. 6 – A Waupaca woman reported her 9-year-old daughter was texting older males, and they were texting her back.

• Feb. 6 – Caller reported a blue Chevy pickup truck had been sitting at the Mobil Mart in Fremont for more than two hours, and the two occupants were suspected of selling drugs.
