A 52-year-old Waupaca man was seriously injured when he collided with a sports utility vehicle at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10.
The snowmobiler was traveling northbound on the west shoulder of Larry Road at Ritchie Lane in the town of Mukwa.
According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, he made an abrupt turn into the roadway in front of a southbound SUV and the two vehicles crashed.
The snowmobiler was taken by ambulance to ThedaCare in New London, then airlifted to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
The driver of the SUV, a a 65-year-old man from New London, and a passenger, a 66-year-old female from New London, were not injured.
Names have not been released yet.
