Damien Evan Jones was born on January 28, 1998 in New London to Stephanie Jones and Jason Cotter. Damien was raised in Clintonville where he attended St. Rose Catholic School. He was a very happy, caring, and a loving child who never cried about anything. Damien was very family oriented and cared about everyone, but kept a small circle of friends while growing up. He enjoyed skateboarding, basketball, fishing, music, video games, attending car shows, and spending time with his family and friends. Damien was also very good with computers and could do everything with them. He was a sweet, loving, and caring young man.
Survivors include his mother, Stephanie A. Jones; his father, Jason F. Cotter, and one sister, Nadia Cotter, all of Clintonville. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Herman Bessette of Clintonville and Johnny (Cathy) Jones of Chicago, IL; and his paternal grandparents, Cathy (Greg) Cotter of Clintonville. Damien is further survived by his uncles, Joey Geary, Kevin Geary, and David LeFever; a stepsister, Jasmine Cisewski, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Karen Geary; maternal great-grandmother, Nellie LeFever, and two uncles, Jeremy Farley and Larry Cotter.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 24th at 12:00 noon at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, with Deacon Lincoln Wood officiating. Friends may visit on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
