Nurse finds meth

In ER for an OD, a woman dropped hidden narcotics, police say.

Erika L. Timm, 21, Waupaca, is charged with possession of methamphetamine.

On Feb. 15, Timm allegedly overdosed while at the Fremont Mobil Mart and was taken to ThedaCare in Waupaca.

Detectives Bryan Strobusch and Nick Traeger, with the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, questioned Timm at the hospital regarding her overdose. They left the hospital.

A short time later, a nurse called the sheriff’s office and reported a small plastic bag with a crystalline substance fell out of Timm’s sweatshirt as she was dressing.

According to the criminal complaint, the contents of the bag weighed .234 grams and tested positive for crystal meth.
