He was born on May 4, 1942 in Iola, son of the late Herbert and Laura (Suehring) Fradrich. Gary graduated from Marion High School in 1960, and attended U.W. Oshkosh for one year. On September 28, 1963, he was united in marriage to Mary Zemple of Manawa. Gary was employed by Central Paper Products in Menasha for 30 years, where he earned a patent for developing pressure sensitive labels for the paper industry. After retiring, he worked at Waller’s Market and Pine Grove Meats as a meat cutter. Gary enjoyed fishing, gardening, and teaching anyone to love poultry. He was a poultry judge for many years and the Poultry/Rabbit Superintendent at the Waupaca County Fair for over 40 years. Gary enjoyed sharing his love of gardening with his daughters and grandchildren. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa.
Gary is survived by his wife, Mary; children: Kathy Sanderfoot (David Beyer), Jenny (Bruce) Scheller and Joanna Fradrich; grandchildren: Joshua (Clarissa) Fradrich, Jamie (Kristi) Sanderfoot, and Katie Sanderfoot, David, Andrew, and Jacob Scheller; great-grandchildren: Ethan, Alexandria, Isabella, Arianna Fradrich, and Orik and Latika Sanderfoot; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Judith (Dennis) Frederick, Paul (Barbara) Zemple; special friends, Russ Montgomery and Linda Crushinski, also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Phyllis Dewhurst; brother, Dennis Fradrich; nephew, Sheldon Dewhurst and a niece, Sharon Briske.
A memorial service that will celebrate Gary’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa with Rev. Vilas Mazemke officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held directly at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. The Cline Hanson Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa is serving the family.
