Chargers win baseball quarterfinal

Wittenberg-Birnamwood ended the season for the Weyauwega-Fremont baseball team May 24 by handing the Indians a 2-0 loss in a WIAA Division 3 regional quarterfinal.
W-F also wrapped up the regular season May 22 with an 11-1 loss to Amherst.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood broke a scoreless tie with a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Kolden Baehman and Tyler Wetzel had two of the Indians’ five hits.
Amherst 11, W-F 1 (5 inn.)
The Falcons scored three runs in the third, five in the fourth and three in the fifth in an East Division win over the Indians.
