Waupaca County sheriff’s report June 18

• June 18 – Shortly before 5 a.m., a caller in Northgate Estates in New London reported a home invasion in progress. He said he captured three people.

• June 17 – New London cellphone caller told 911 all these people were after him and he would be dead if an officer does not come out to his place. However, he would not answer any questions or tell dispatch where he lived.

• June 17 – Caller from 400 block of West Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported finding a stranger sleeping on her porch at about 8:30 a.m.

• June 17 – Waupaca woman called and reported her drunk boyfriend threatened to kill her and threw her around. She went to a neighbor’s home for help.

• June 17 – A 17-year-old New London girl reported her friend was posting nearly pornographic pictures of her online.

• June 16 – Caller from the 300 block of McKinley Street, New London, reported a girl was ringing her doorbell and yelling into her window.

• June 16 – Caller reported finding a comforter with bones in a ditch about 500 feet fromn State Highway 156 east of Clintonville.

• June 16 – Caller from the 300 block of East Alfred Street, Weyauwega, reported a runaway calico cat, white with an orange and black spot on the right side, one orange ear and one black ear.

• June 16 – Rose Garden Restaurant, Churchill Street, Waupaca, reported finding a wallet left behind by a customer from Grand Chute.

• June 16 – Fleet Farm, Waupaca, reported detaining a 47-year-old woman for shoplifting.

• June 16 – Caller from E3100 block of Ebbe Lake Road, Waupaca, reported finding marijuana while cleaning a sofa he purchased at an auction.

• June 16 – Caller from the 600 block of East Ann Street, Weyauwega, reported returning home and finding a ladder leaning against the house and the window screens removed.

• June 16 – Caller from the 600 block of East Alfred Street. Weyawega, reported at about 11 p.m. that his bike was stolen. He called about 15 minutes later to report he found it down the street.

• June 15 – Caller from the 700 block of Washington Street, Fremont, reported her disabled driver card had been stolen from her vehicle.

• June 15 – Caller from a pallet company in Waupaca reported a co-worker knocked him down and other workers called an ambulance.

• June 15 – Caller from Baldwin Road, town of Little Wolf, reported heavy fumes coming from the asphalt plant.

• June 15 – Cellphone caller reported seeing a driver pleasuring himself as she passed his blue Chevy van on U.S. Highway 10 east of Weyauwega.

• June 14 – Chain One Stop, Waupaca, reported a $42 gas drive-off.

• June 14 – Northbound Trail BP, Fremont, reported a $44 gas drive-off.

• June 13 – The village of Fremont reported that a vehicle was blocking the storage garage. Two people were inside the vehicle, passed out. Beer bottles were strewn on the ground.

Traffic
An 82-year-old man was injured in a crash at abut 10:22 p.m. on June 13 in the town of Larrabee.

Lyle Passehl, of Marion, was northbound on U.S. Highway 45 when he crossed over the median, crossed the southbound lanes, into the west ditch and into some trees.

According to the accident report, paramedics found him initially unresponsive and when he came to, he did not know what had happened.

Passehl was transferred to ThedaCare Medical Center, in Shawano.
