Manawa hosts Mid-Western Rodeo
The 60th Mid-Western Rodeo was held Thursday through Saturday, June 28-30, at Hoffmann Memorial Park, in Manawa.
This year’s show featured bull jumping by Manu Lataste, who somersaulted over a charging bull.
Bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing and team roping were among the highlights at this year’s rodeo.
Other rodeo events included a fireworks show, a parade, free live music, a cowboy style breakfast and the Manawa Rodeo Queen Contest.
