Deputies seize pot, gun and $17,000 cash

Coron L. Mosley, 21, Menasha, is charged in Waupaca county Circuit Court with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, carrying a concealed weapon, illegal possession of a prescription drug and possession of a controlled substance.

On June 22, Waupaca County Deputy Nate Nelson was assisting a motorist on U.S. Highway 10 when a vehicle with a loud muffler drove past.

Nelson followed the vehicle, then made a traffic stop. Four people were in the car.

When he spoke with the driver, Koby F. Tamke, 23, Nelson noticed the aroma of raw marijuana.

According to the criminal complaint, Tamke admitted to smoking pot about half an hour or so prior to the traffic stop.

Tamke was cited for operating with a controlled substance and operating with an inadequate muffler.

Deputy James Santiago and his K9 Cuda arrived and the officers searched the car.

They reported finding an ounce of marijuana, several prescription sedatives, a Glock .45-caliber handgun, 19 rounds of hollow-point ammunition and a total of $17,760 in cash.

“Mosley admitted to selling large quantities of marijuana,” the complaint says.

Mosley was released from custody on a $2,000 signature bond.
