Waupaca County sheriff’s report July 16

• July 15 – Anonymous caller reported a Waupaca man posted threatening messages on Facebook: “Some people think I’m just venting, but I’m in the state of mind to do some killing…. I’m out on a mission to spill blood.”

• July 15 – Kwik Trip, County Trunk QQ, Waupaca, reported a man had passed out in his white Saturn.

• July 15 – Caller from the E7700 block of County Trunk O, Clintonville, reported someone did burnouts in his soybean field and damaged the soybeans.

• July 15 – Caller from the E2100 block of Lake Road, Iola, reported receiving threatening texts from the landlord. Ten minutes earlier, the landlord had called the sheriff’s office seeking information about the eviction process.

• July 15 – Caller reported a shirtless man yelling at a child on Ostrander Road in New London.

• July 15 – Caller from the 600 block of Mill Street, Waupaca, reported his wife hit him and smashed his car’s windshield. He said they had both been drinking.

• July 15 – Caller said his son’s girlfriend will not leave the house.

• July 14 – Caller from the N9200 block of Crain Road, New London, reported someone crashed into a telephone pole, then drove away, leaving behind a bent pole and auto parts.

• July 14 – New London woman reported she was scammed out of $2,000 when she purchased gift cards.

• July 14 – Iola Car Show reported a man passed out on a table with a swollen stomach.

• July 14 – Iola Car Show reported a woman down on the ground, suffering from heat exhaustion. At least four other people required medical attention due to the heat. One man was stung by a bee. A tailgate was stolen and two people complained about a man with an air horn.

• July 14 – Caller from the 300 block of North East Street, Weyauwega, reported hearing a loud explosion.

• July 14 – Caller from the 900 block of Smith Street, New London, reported a pit bull was running loose and had gone after his wife.

• July 14 – Hartman Creek State Park reported a homeless man had set up camp for the night.

• July 13 – Caller from the N8900 block of Moen Road, Iola, accused her son-in-law of defrauding her son out of at least $3,000.

• July 13 – Caller reported a man walking up and down County Trunk T in New London, and she suspected he was casing homes for drugs. She also said he urinated in her yard.

• July 13 – Bullet holes were reported in the Mukwa Town Hall.

• July 13 – Caller from the N10900 block of State Highway 22, Clintonville, complained that loud vehicles were keeping him up at night.

• July 13 – Staff at the Iola Car Show asked police to remove four scantily clad women who were suspected of soliciting.

• July 13 – Caller from the N1300 block of Speer Road, Waupaca, reported her uncle and aunt were fighting and it had become physical.

• July 12 – Kwik Trip, County QQ, Waupaca, reported a visibly intoxicated woman drove at high speed into the parking lot and honked at customers.

• July 12 – Caller from the 100 block of South Harrison Street, Waupaca, reported someone was shining a flashlight into her bedroom window.

• July 12 – Courtside Sports Bar, Apple Tree Lane, Waupaca, reported someone hit a gas main and it was leaking.

• July 11 – Caller reported her son’s gray and yellow bike was stolen from South Park in Waupaca.
• July 11 – Big Squirt Car Wash, West Fulton, Waupaca, reported someone busted out the wall to the equipment room and took the change machine.

• July 11 – Caller from the N1300 block of Bryan Court, Waupaca, asked to speak to an officer abut his neighbor placing railroad ties in his driveway.

• July 11 – Caller from the E4900 block of Butternut Ridge Road, Weyauwega, reported a neighbor’s child was breaking into his house at night and he was there talking to the parents. Dispatch reported hearing a woman in the background, arguing.

• July 11 – Oak Creek caller reported an unknown person used his credit card to make a reservation at the Ramada in Waupaca, He received a confirmation email from Ramada, which informed him of the unauthorized transaction.

• July 11 – Waupaca caller reported her brother is homeless, depressed and living in a tent on her property.

• July 10 – Piggly Wiggly, West Fulton Street, Waupaca, asked police to remove three men, one woman and two dogs who were sleeping on the east side of the building and making customers uncomfortable.

• July 10 – ThedaCare-Waupaca ER staff reported an 88-year-old patient said her children were stealing money from her.

• July 10 – Waupaca caller reported a 23-year-old woman cut her wrist and posted a photo of it on Facebook.

• July 10 – Caller from the N3900 block of Nicholas Creek Road, Waupaca, reported a relative who was recently released from prison, was harassing him via cellphone.

Traffic
Four people were injured when two motorcycles traveling with a hosted ride collided at 11:37 a.m. Saturday, July 14.

The group of motorcycles slowed as it came out of a long curve on U.S. Highway 10 east of Brown Road in rural Fremont.

Jeffrey Van Calligan, 58, Menominee Falls, was unable to slow down fast enough and his bike made contact with another motorcycle operated by William M. Ingram, 61, Durand.

Van Calligan and his passenger, Wendy Van Calligan, were seriously injured. They were airlifted to ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah.

Ingram and his passenger, Pamela C. Ingram, suffered minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to ThedaCare in Waupaca.
