Man charged with child porn

Online sex videos of infants, toddlers reported

Tzer Moua, 27, is charged with possession of child pornography.

On March 7, Detective Sgt. Tim Myers, with the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant for Moua’s Dropbox account.

In a file folder from the account, Myers reported finding 65 video files.

All the videos depicted children under the age of 18, some as young as infants and toddlers, in “various states of sexual acts, conduct and undress,” according to the criminal complaint.

Myers told the Waupaca County Post he was informed by three different sources regarding the child porn online activity occurring in the Waupaca area – the Wisconsin Department of Justice, the U.S. Homeland Security office in Milwaukee and an internet crimes agency in New Zealand.

Myers said he traced the IP address to Moua.

Moua told Myers his interest in child porn began when he would go online and randomly start clicking.

“Before you know it, you’re at a forum or a blog and you’re curious as to what that is, and you click on it,” Moua reportedly said.

Myers said Moua was also using a Chat Step account to browse and share porn files.

Moua faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.

Moua, who lives on South Main Street across from the Waupaca Area Public Library, was released from custody after posting a $5,000 cash bond.
