Facebook Live Pregame Show coming

By Erik Buchinger

With the high school sports season set to begin, the New London Press Star and Clintonville Tribune-Gazette would like to inform our readers of our coverage plan for the upcoming season.

In addition to as many game recaps, feature stories and photos that can fit into the newspaper, we will continue to post some stories with additional photos and video online at waupacanow.com.

The high school sports podcast “Prep Sports Weekly Replay” returned for Season 2 last week, which included part 1 of our football preview show.

The podcast was the most downloaded episode in the show’s history, featuring interviews with Hortonville head coach Tom Kolosso, New London head coach Marc Marsh and Clintonville head coach Tom Burkhalter. New London football was the Team of the Week.

The podcast is recorded every week and typically released Saturday mornings from August through mid-June bringing you the latest news and interviews for New London, Hortonville and Clintonville high school athletics.

Prep Sports Weekly Replay can be found on waupacanow.com and on a variety of podcast platforms including iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher and SoundCloud.

A new addition to the high school sports coverage is the Facebook Live Pregame Show. One hour prior to games, I will go live from the New London Press Star or Clintonville Tribune-Gazette Facebook page to break down the game and take your game predictions.

The first Facebook Live Pregame Show will be Thursday, Aug. 16 at 6 p.m. prior to the New London football season opener against Oconto Falls.
