Convictions, sentencings and dismissals from Waupaca County felony cases.

• Judge Vicki Clussman sentenced Jack R. Raymond, 34, Waupaca, to two years in state prison and two years of extended supervision.

In three separate felony cases, Raymond was convicted of two counts of delivery of heroin and one count each of felony bail jumping, misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct.

In addition to his prison sentence, Raymond was ordered to pay $6,966 in court costs and restitution for the buy money investigators used to purchase heroin from him.

Charges of attempted battery of an officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and forgery uttering were dismissed but read into the court record for sentencing purposes.

• Clussman placed Ryan S. Lubinski, 33, Waupaca, on three years of probation and sentenced him to 90 days in jail as a condition of probation.

Lubinski appeared in court for seven felony and misdemeanor criminal cases.

He was convicted of maintaining a drug trafficking place, felony bail jumping and retail theft.

Four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, 13 counts of bail jumping and one count each of attempted burglary, obstructing an officer and retail theft were dismissed but read into the court record.

Lubinski was also ordered to pay $1,884 in fines and court costs.

• Judge Raymond Huber sentenced Trenton A. Swortz, 21, Waupaca, to 30 days in jail and assessed him $518 in court costs.

Sworts was convicted of felony possession of marijuana. A misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed but read into the record.

Swortz will serve his 30 days concurrent with the time he is now serving as a result of his probation being revoked for an earlier felony pot conviction.

• Judge Troy Nielsen placed Taylor R. Tiner, 22, Madison, on two years probation with the condition that he consume no illegal drugs or alcohol and pay $1,329 in court costs.

Tiner was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon, obstructing an officer and possession of marijuana.

Charges of felon in possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed but read into the record.

• Huber sentenced Harley D. Beckerson, 28, Menasha, to six months in jail after revoking his probation.

In May 2017, Beckerson was convicted of possession of methamphetamine and felony bail jumping.

• Huber placed Cody D. Johnson, 19, Waupaca, on two years of probation and assessed him $443 in court costs.

Johnson was convicted of possession of psilocin.

A charge of felony bail jumping was dismissed but read into the record.

In a separate case, Huber imposed a 60-day sentence, then stayed 45 days.

Johnson was convicted of misdemeanor theft as a party to a crime, criminal trespass to a dwelling and carrying a concealed weapon.
Huber also ordered Johnson to pay $4,109 in restitution and court costs.

As conditions of his probation, Johnson is prohibited from possessing or consuming any illegal drugs or alcohol. He must also participate in any counseling deemed appropriate by his probation agent.

• Huber placed Haley N. Weis, 26, Fremont, on two years of probation and ordered her to pay $886 in court costs.

Weis was convicted of possession of marijuana, amended from the original charge of possession of narcotics.

Conditions of probation include no illegal substance or drug paraphernalia and participation in any counseling deemed appropriate by the probation agent.

• Clussman placed Ashley L. Buss, 29, Waupaca, on one year of probation and ordered her to pay $2,026 in restitution and court costs.

Buss was convicted of issuing worthless checks as party to a crime. Two counts of forgery uttering were dismissed but read into the record.

• Nielsen placed Anthony R. Porter, 26, Wisconsin Rapids, on two years of probation and assessed him $518 in court costs.
Porter was convicted of battery by a prisoner.

• Huber imposed and stayed a nine-month jail sentence for one year in a case against Keenan W. Morgan, 60, Waupaca.

Morgan was convicted of felony possession of marijuana.

Conditions of Morgan’s stayed sentence require that he pay $518 in court costs, maintain absolute sobriety, not possess any illegal drugs or paraphernalia, and attend at least one group counseling session weekly.

• Huber placed Tiffany R. Powell, 32, Eufaula, Alabama, on 18 months of probation. and ordered her to pay $961 in court costs.

Powell was convicted of felony bail jumping and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Clussman placed Russ D. Wetzel, 36, Iola, on two years of probation and ordered him to pay $813 in court costs.

Wetzel was convicted of felony forgery uttering.

Charges of felony bail jumping and disorderly conduct were dismissed but read into the court record.

• Clussman imposed and stayed six months in jail and placed Matthew A. Lins, 30, New London, on one year of probation.

Lins was convicted of possession of mairjuana. Charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed but read into the record.

As conditions of his probation, Lins must pay $443 in court costs and maintain absolute sobriety.

• Clussman sentenced Billy J. Sell, 50, New London, to six months in jail, assessed him $1,819 in fines and court costs, revoked his license for two years and ordered him to install an ignition interlock device.

Sell was convicted of a fifth drunken driving offense.

• Clussman sentenced Daniel L. Bednar, 31, Manawa, to six months in jail, assessed him $1,861 in fines and court costs, revoked his license for two years and ordered him to install an IID.

Bednar was convicted of his fourth drunken driving offense.

• Clussman placed Nathaniel K. Johnson, 18, Scandinavia, on two years of probation and ordered him to pay $1,359 in court costs.

Johnson was convicted of two counts of criminal damage to property and misdemeanor theft, amended from burglary.

A count of burglary was dismissed and read into the record.

• Clussman imposed and stayed a sentence of three years in prison and placed Harley T. Dobbertin, 24, Iola, on three years probation.

In two separate cases, Dobbertin was convicted of delivery of cocaine and possession of narcotics.
Charges of felony bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record.
As conditions of his probation, Clussman ordered him to participate in any counseling deemed appropriate by his probation agent.
If Dobbertin’s probation is revoked, he will be given credit for the 266 days in custody on a $2,000 cash bond.

• Clussman sentenced Isaiah N. Warning, 23, Greenville, to 30 days in jail and ordered him to pay $443 in court costs.

Warning was convicted of misdemeanor possession of marijuana, amended from a felony charge.

• Nielsen placed Nickolas L. Swenson, 21, Tigerton, on two years of probation.

Swenson was convicted of resisting an officer and criminal damage to property.

Nielsen sentenced Swenson to 90 days in jail with the conditions that he pay $988 in fines and court costs, not possess or consume alcohol, not go into bars and participate in any counseling deemed appropriate by his agent.

Nielsen also approved a two-year deferred prosecution agreement for a felony charge of battery to an officer.

Conditions of the agreement require Swenson to participate in domestic abuse counseling, not break any laws and provide monthly written reports to the district attorney’s office.

• Clussman revoked the deferred prosecution agreement of Aaron P. Mankowski, 26, Weyauwega, and sentenced him to seven months in jail with 115 days credit for time served.

In March 2017, Mankowski was convicted of three counts of illegal possession of prescription drugs and placed on two years of probation. He entered into the agreement for a felony charge of theft.
