Lester E. C. Kempf, age 84, of Fremont, died on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.
He was born on September 3, 1933 in the Town of Bloomfield, the son of the late Willard and Emma (Pagel) Kempf. On June 14, 1989, Lester married Bernice Radtke in Oshkosh. Lester served his country in the United States Marine Corp, retiring as a staff sergeant after 20 years. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Lester was also a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in East Bloomfield.
Lester is survived by his wife Bernice; he is the loving father of two daughters, Lourie Ambrose, AZ and Cheryl (fiancé Ray) Kempf, MI; Bernice’s daughter, Christine (Alan) Ikert Fremont and her family; four grandchildren, and a sister, Vera Blewett, MI; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald; a daughter, Lisa; and three brothers.
Per Lester’s wishes no service will be held. The Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont assisted the family with arrangements.
