Wanner, Lucille D.

Lucille D. Wanner, age 86 of Clintonville passed away peacefully Friday morning, August 17, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour.

Lucille was born in Spauding, Michigan on January 14, 1932. She loved gardening, painting and was an avid reader. She loved learning new things her entire life. As a child, she excelled in school, was the editor of her school paper, and graduated with honors and received a Good Citizenship Certificate from the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She married the love of her life in 1950 and together they forged a remarkable life together. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children: Rachele French, Kristyn (Rick) Zimmerman, Carlene (Harry) Michalski, and Russell Wanner; her grandchildren: Shawn French, Deon (Brian) Dey, Tina (Tim) Lintner, Chad (Shelly) Olson, Derek Wanner, Devon (Nick) Schoenbohm, Dillon Wanner, and Jena Zimmerman; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, John Douglas Browy. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and two brothers; her husband, Philip Wanner Jr.; and her son, Daryl Wanner.

Lucille’s funeral service will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville with Rev. Timothy Lofgren officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Pella, Shawano County.
