Marchetta - Peters Engagement
Elizabeth Marchetta and Steven Peters, both originally of Waupaca, announce their engagement.
The couple will exchange marriage vows on Aug. 6, 2011, during a beach wedding ceremony in South Padre Island, Texas.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ann and Nicholas Marchetta, of Waupaca. A 1990 graduate of Waupaca High School, she received her bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and is employed by SourceCorp as a senior proposal writer and copywriter.
The future groom is the son of Jack and Kay Peters, of Waupaca. A 1988 graduate of Waupaca High School, he received his bachelor's degree in international studies from the UW-Oshkosh and is employed by the U.S. Border Patrol as a federal agent.
