Muenster and Bennett reflect on Hall of Fame racing careers at Shawano Speedway
Saturday night was be a special night for Green Bay’s Jerry Muenster and Greenville's Bobby Bennett. Both were inducted into the Shawano Speedway Hall of Fame.

It was another tough week of racing for area tracks as the wet weather washed out several weekly programs. The Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway held its racing program on Tuesday last week because off-road racing was at the track over the weekend.
Shawano Speedway prepares for invasion of Outlaws
The outlaws are coming. No, the outlaws aren’t riding into town on horses, ready to wreak havoc on local citizens. Rather, the World of Outlaws Late Model Series will be pulling into Shawano on Wednesday, Aug. 4, to race at Shawano Speedway.

The highly anticipated World of Outlaws Late Model Series race at Shawano Speedway is less than a week away. The big question is: Which drivers will show up for the race? Unfortunately, the realistic answer is, you'll have to wait until Wednesday to find out.
You can count on most, if not all of the World of Outlaws regulars to be there. Other than those drivers it's pure speculation as to who will be there. Several drivers have the race listed on their schedule on their web site, but as we all know, plans can changed due to unexpected things.
