Plenty of on and off track excitement yet to come this season
We needed the rain, but too bad it couldn’t have held off until after the racing program last Saturday. But a rain shower late in the afternoon forced Shawano Speedway to cancel its racing program.
With the cancelation, it’s a good time to take a look ahead at the Shawano Speedway schedule for some of the bigger events that are coming up.
Drivers are reminded of the dangers of racing after wild night at Shawano Speedway
Anyone associated with stock car racing knows that it is a dangerous sport. It doesn’t matter if you are a driver, the spouse of a driver, a pit crew member or a fan, if you have been around local racing long enough chances are that you have seen some nasty crashes.
Those in attendance at Shawano Speedway Saturday night got to see a few nasty crashes, with two of them being drivers rolling their cars.
