Fans once again flock to Shawano Speedway for World of Outlaws show

For the second year in a row, race fans flocked to Shawano Speedway to take in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series show. Not only did fans come out to the Speedway, but the Late Model car count was also up when compared to last year. There were 37 Late Models on hand this year, compared to 32 in 2010.

Paul Parker once again won the WISSOTA Late Model feature, giving him two wins in two weeks. Parker also won his heat race, so he was able to cut into Ron Berna’s point lead — but only slightly. That’s due to the fact Berna finished second in his heat race and third in the feature. Berna held an 11 point lead entering the night of racing. That lead is now seven points over Parker.
