Help name the Viking
The Iola-Scandinavia Area Chamber of Commerce and the Iola Hometown Program are seeking donations to help pay for the new Viking carving.
Tax deductible donations can be sent to: Iola Stump Carving Fund, Iola Village, P.O. Box 336, Iola, WI 54945.
You can also help by entering the "Name the Nordic Viking Contest." Cost is $5 per submission. Entries will be collected at the Aug. 26 and Sept. 9 Thursday Night on Main events. They can also be mailed to the above address.
