Library announces fall programs
A twelve week series of "At the Zoo" story times for children of all ages will be held from Sept. 13 - Nov. 30. Stories, songs and finger plays will be presented on Monday and Tuesday mornings from 10:15 -10:45 a.m. at the library. Caregivers must accompany children under three years of age. Each week the children will receive a handout with an activity to do at home that is related to the theme of the week. Story times are designed to help children develop listening skills, increase their attention spans, learn to follow simple directions and participate in group activities.
The "After School Page Turners" program at the Clintonville Public Library will be on Tuesdays from 3:45 - 4:15 p.m. The program is open to all children grades 3-8 from Sept. 7 - Nov. 16. Relax after school with popcorn, lemonade and a great story.
The "Teen Trux" will be Wednesdays on Sept. 22, Oct. 20, and Nov. 17 from 3:30-4:45 p.m. There will be pizza and games. Students from grades 6 and up are welcome.
