Humbug in Fremont
The Fremont Elementary Drama Club presented two performances of this year’s holiday play, "Humbug!" on Dec. 13 in the school gym.
Students sang and added a bit of action during some of their songs.
Based on the Charles Dickens’ novel, A Christmas Carol, "Humbug!" was about a teacher who was visited by her past, present and future. She came to realized that she had lost her spark for teaching and was inspired to get it back.
The drama club is made up of 28 third- through fifth-grade students.
